You Are Apple Pie

You’re the perfect combo of comforting and traditional.
You prefer things the way you’ve always known them.
You’ll admit that you’re old fashioned, and you don’t see anything wrong with that.
Your tastes and preferences are classic. And classic never goes out of style.
Those who like you crave security.
People can rely on you to be true to yourself – and true to them.
You’re loyal, trustworthy, and comfortable in your own skin.
And because of these qualities, you’ve definitely earned a lot of respect.

In Florida, supporters of those with hearing loss went to the state capitol to petition the government for extended services for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Advocates are pushing for state licensure of interpreters, improved educational services, better access to emergency preparedness plans, increased use of captioning for films and television broadcasts and increased funding for direct services, according to a written release.

The headline for the article: “Deaf plan silent protest at Capitol”.

Aren’t things always silent for the deaf?

Apparently both the plaintiff and the defendant submitted briefs with poetry. The judge issued the opinion in rhyme and the notes added after the decision were also completed, in rhyme.
